About the Lab:

Who

The Lab is NOT designed to “fix” problem leaders, but rather to help good leaders grow to their fullest capability.

The Lab is ideal for leaders who have been an executive long enough to see behind the curtain and discovered that executive reality is … harsh. It’s not going to be as simple as they thought it would be. They have realized that they need different skills and tools to survive (and thrive) in this new reality. They need to learn how to do all the things that everybody tells them they should be doing.

Participant Profile:

  • Different organizations have varied title structures, but generally participants are around the VP level
  • Most participants come from large corporations but senior leaders in mid-cap, academic, hospital, and non-profits also participate
  • Both experienced and new senior leaders participate but it is invaluable to someone in their first 5 years as a senior leader so that they start on solid footing and don’t have as much to “unlearn” later on

    YEAR LONG
    Participate in interactive sessions without overtaxing an already-busy schedule
    Ongoing support and tailored, situational advice over a substantial time period

    SMALL GROUP
    Each lab cohort is kept small to maximize learning & growth
    Cohorts are are comprised of many industries with no competitors in the same cohort
    Allows participants to leverage knowledge, experience, and best practices of other companies and industries

    HYBIRD
    All modules are live and interactive
    Cohorts meet by videoconference 2 or 3 times month
    At both the 3 and 9 month marks, the cohort comes together for a 2-day in person session

    INDIVIDUAL COACHING
    Regular coaching with members of the cohort or Dr. Bodner
    In the moment coaching during modules to help apply existing leadership skills in new ways and develop new tactics and strategies for tackling challenges

    REAL WORLD TOOLS
    Practical, real world tools to deal with the difficult realities of executive leadership
    Concepts and tools are academically grounded but designed to be immediately applicable
